Going to start complimenting the amazing leg strength of my favourite blocker by calling their thigh muscles Magellanic, after the Large Magellanic Cloud’s supermassive black hole.
This hypervelocity star-flinging is like a whip in roller derby: the black hole is the pack, and the binary stars are the blocker giving a whip to the jammer to get them past the pack.
But much faster - no skater I know can get a whip that ejects them out at 1,000km/sec, and no pack has a mass that is 600,000 times the size of the sun.

Carried my skates for my long run so I could do a winter brick workout. Out of the trail shoes and into the skates. My legs felt a little funny for the first couple of km but were okay after that. Ended up skating more than I ran, love bonus kilometres! Gorgeous weather for skating!

It ain’t exactly simple but it’s pretty cool. Open/closed, ice conditions, flooded, resurfaced, snow cleared and when the last time the city updated the status (ie visited the rink).
This repackages the XML file into different sensors in HA. Besides seeing the state you can trigger automations and view the history.

"Errm, so how do you like my skating skills?"
Here's a cute drawing I've made starring this cute fox-boy skating on ice! I honestly wish southern AZ (where I live) snowed often. Instead, it's just sad and cold and dead. Snow is just so pretty to me, and yet I get none of it. 
Besides that, though, I've been trying out a new way of outlining! I'm starting to move towards thinner outlines more, being able to perform them effectively and preferring how they look compared to thicker outlines. I'm most likely just gonna keep using the paintbrush (called Basic-5 Size in Krita), but in a smaller size, instead of the fineliner, though. I still adore how the paintbrush makes varied lines.
