DeepSeek's reasoning model R1 can easily be tricked into generating malicious code, even though it still needs human input, research shows.

@mntmn The interesting question would be: what is the performance of the #Framework cluster. This is not shown in the video. In another video someone tested #deepseek on a server with more than 1TB RAM. Spoiler: the performance is not really usable with local LLM in RAM (only 3 tokens per second).
Bit-Rauschen: Spekulationen um Intels Zukunft befeuern den Aktienkurs
Die US-Regierung will anscheinend Intels US-Chipwerke retten. Die x86-CPUs werden vielleicht abgespalten. Nvidia beweist bei DeepSeek-R1 seine Kompetenz
I love how this thing is only censoring itself *after* it already sent stuff to the client.

And a subset of people will always prefer honest human expression over the slop plagiarism machines are pumping out.

This is not to give credence to the dead-internet conspiracy theory.
Just to let you know that I see at work a huge mass of content published on article websites without any human intervention. Since more than 3 years.
This content is currently very difficult to distinguish from human-created content, except that it seems "empty", only if you look closely at it. It's a bit like the uncanny valley.
if #DeepSeek can scare #Microsoft into an open-sourcing war, that would be cool.
