Deep-Fake detectors are not nearly good enough.
| A study by CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency, and South Korea’s Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), assessed 16 leading detectors and found none could reliably identify real-world deepfakes.
They do however have some pointers for future developers.

That is why Scarlett Johansson is absolutely right in saying, “We must call out the misuse of AI, no matter its messaging, or we risk losing a hold on reality.”
(Johansson’s face was used without consent in an AI-generated video which was meant as a protest against Kanye’s swastika-promoting Super Bowl ad. That video seems to go viral presently.)
