I've started collecting #VR #influencer contact info for sending out early access #SteamKeys of #PortalFoxesTD, and I do not understand this ecosystem. I see a cool looking channel and it'll have a thousand subscribers, but a channel with a ton of horrible BS will have a million. I'm trying to get a good mix of big and small and cast a wide net, so if you know anyone who might be interested let me know. #boostsappreciated

So I guess I will be playing #VRChat in desktop mode until they can manage to build a driver that actually works.
The random stuttering every couple of minutes is just making me feel sick.
Remember when NVIDIA built cards that both worked and also didn't literally set on fire?

Ominous sky vortex shader: now with spinning!
It's running at 12 fps because I had to software rasterize it (new GPU and the Linux drivers are still shaky), given the circumstances that's actually good performance!

@orange_lux@eldritch.cafeBon, au final ça s'est pas super bien passé. Si je bascule sur les branches "VR" de Euro Truck Simulator 2, il n'y a tout simplement pas d'exécutable (tout le répertoire "bin" disparaît.
Du coup, je vais tester deux choses :
- copier le répertoire avant de basculer sur la branche VR, puis le recoller (Au risque de le voir disparaître au gré des mises à jour)
- regarder si je peux forcer le téléchargement de la version Windows d'un jeu Steam (Si quelqu'un connaît une manip, je prends)
Sur BeamNG, ça n'a pas marché aussi : quand la VR s'est activée j'ai eu la vision "big screen" du jeu (Un écran géant sur lequel était projetée la vue 2D du jeu). Ily a peut-être des réglages supplémentaires à faire.
Et j'ai manqué de temps pour tester Assetto Corsa.

Alright tried once more to make monado + opencomposite work because other people "assured me it would work" and it doesn't..... followed https://lvra.gitlab.io/docs/distros/nixos/ + https://wiki.nixos.org/wiki/VR + https://monado.freedesktop.org/valve-index-setup.html#5-setting-up-opencomposite, so is there a fucking secret magic documentation that make this work or everyone lying ???
