This is what swords & sorcery fantasy role-playing is supposed to be about. THIS STUFF. And you do have to read to learn it.
Of course I've read all these, often in shitty paperbacks from the '60s-80s. But a nice collection for those who haven't!

Legend has it that a long-ago invasion of bizarre, enchanted insects forced the abandonment of this fortress, which now lies in wait for intrepid adventurers to reclaim it.
We talk about the vibrancy of the #osr as a blogging scene but there's increasing amounts of content out there aimed at people who are looking to start selling their own pdfs and that is not a great sign.
I definitely feel as though this year's bloggies were a bit of a mask-off moment as people spent the entire month log-rolling old wine into new bottles.
Do you have any #ttrpg regrets? I‘m thinking of systems you might have abandoned or stuck with for too long, books you should (not) have sold, campaigns that ended too early/late, etc.

An old map is all you need to start a new adventure, especially one with undead pirates like @cawoodpublishing ‘s Ghosts of Wrath. Back it now, it’s compatible with most #fantasy #TTRPG systems!

The Glimmermark is a is a border march of the Kingdom of Brillon, once a core province of the old Empire, but now a landscape of ruins, wilderness, and strange creatures. Here around the remote border fortress Aberwacht are located many strange places like the rather ‘chaotic’ Stygian Caves, or the ruins of Castle Dyson. Treasure can be found by enterprising adventurers…
The time constraints necessitate a very focused approach to the game.
The game so far is in German, but the Discord server we are on normally switches to English as soon as a non-German speaker is present.
Rules are stock Labyrinth Lord Revised [www.drivethrurpg.com], but characters created with equivalent (DnD B/X) systems are welcome.
Goblins [gmkeros.wordpress.com] are available as an additional class.
Looking for a virtual con to attend next month, look no further than Precognition. The organizers are avid #TTRPG enthusiasts who are interested in promoting #IndieGames and lesser known systems. #DnD, #pathfinder, and other mainstream titles are also welcome as part of this celebration of gaming.
