The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark
I absolutely love the writing, the style and the humour of the game. It's a wild mixture of riddles, point and click adventure, a mysterious environment, breaking the 4th wall, enjoyable minigames (hard enough to get such) and interesting sceneries.
Also, it's quite hard to describe, but for whatever reason, even the pixelated existence of Officer Patrick Dooley is somehow... enticing. He may not be the sharpest tool in the shed. But he certainly brightens every single ingame screen.
PS: I am still very much convinced that Francis and Patrick are a thing. I hope for a third installment. I really dooley. Erm. Do.

Hookerman lights are mysterious lights that appear along railway tracks, including disused ones. The light at first looks like someone holding a lantern; as it gets nearer, it's more like a bouncing ball before it passes over your head and fades into the night. Legends generally claim the lights are caused by the ghosts of workers who have lost an arm or even a head in a train accident. Their phantoms wander the tracks with a lantern looking for the missing body part. Tales of Hookerman lights can be found in over 60 locations around the US.
