As a "normal" user, when navigating to outlook.office.com, what I wanted was a view of my mailbox and calendar.

What I got wasn't quite right. Instead, I had a message saying "You've signed out of your account" and recommending I close all browser windows.

The implication of this wording is that I did this. I did not. This is yet another #antipattern where systems/services gaslight users into thinking they did something wrong.

Haldane mentions the For Women Scotland appeal, an opinion on that could possibly affect this if issued before the ruling on GRR. Needs further submissions in that case. FWS is an appeal about the definition of a woman (anti-trans definition, of course, what did you expect), October 4th. They've failed on it before, hence the appeal.

About how to deal with different "regimes", eg. paperwork. Canada, USA, Spain, Mexico, Aus - all have different rules but in essentially comparative states. Madrigal-Borloz said 100 million around the world living in self-ID "states". So Bain says it's demonstrated even by the UK KC's own papers that it'll work.

Sec of State needs to take into account that UK has more GRC's approved than Scotland, bigger numbers are their problem, not Scotland's so depending on those numbers in light of Scotland's lower GRC application numbers is irrational.

One of the UK KC's defences yesterday was it would affect *many* single sex schools but he was then informed there are only 6 in Scotland. Bain says she investigated and 2 of the schools have mixed-sex 6th forms.
