Has anyone done a list of Irish General Election candidates positions on:

- Trans rights?
- Travellers rights?

Two of the smallest minority groups in the country, about the same population (~30,000 people). Both populations more at risk of poverty and suicide. The opinions of our "leaders" or aspiring leaders on these two groups is a good barometer of how they'll actually treat people in general.

With an upcoming General Election in Ireland in a few weeks, I’m pleased to see Sinn Fein deciding to challenge the UK Government to provide details for a referendum on Irish Unity. I do suspect this is mentioned now, as a vote getter, given SF’s recent travails. All other Irish political parties should be getting behind this - but all parties have conveniently let Reunification slide down their ‘to do’ list. Just went through [my_state's] Progressive Voters Guide, and, being the true political progressive that I am, I will be voting NO on every single one of [my_state's] Initiatives on the 2024 General Election ballot

Bunch of reactionary bullsh*t got put on the ballot this year, by all the usual suspects

OK #Labour Now don't fuck it up... repair this country, tax the rich, fund the NHS, councils, mental health services, repair the damage with the EU. Punish the corrupt who have stolen from public funds and enriched themselves. Electoral reform with PR.

Things you must not do.

Concentrate on growing the economy... we need to move away from this impossible idea that you can have infinite growth in a finite system.

Bow to corporate donors.

I’m running on 3 ½ hours sleep , there is a high chance that I may make less sense than usual
