One important rule to obey when bicycling in Japan is the hook turn rule. To turn right at a signal, you need to go straight ahead through the crosswalk, turn to the right, and go straight when the light turns again. I.e., you do NOT use the right-turn lane that cars use.

Fine, purchased a spoke wrench from the LBS. Hopefully don't need a truing stand to fix the slight wobble in a wheel I have. Did you know there are eight million size of spoke wrench? Already too rich for me (don't need a new bike, LOL... might buy one at $50 but not when it hits $100)... But looks like someone might get a very nice road bike for around $100. Depending on what kind of bidding war breaks out the next hour. Maybe $150, I guess, max. (Definitely good components on this, Ultegra).

It's getting real now... just booked my bike's transportation home from the end of AIDS/Lifecycle.

#Jenks, #Oklahoma really takes the cake for wasting money on bad infrastructure and not implementing the cheapest, most obvious fix (in this case, connect the minor path and major cycleway to Elwood and each other, and design in at least a buffered bike lane on Elwood for its next repave).
