2,400-year-old puppets discovered atop pyramid in El Salvador In San Isidro, El Salvador, archaeologists have unearthed a stunning set of 2,400-year-old ceramic puppets atop a pyramidal structure. These findings shed new light on ancient public rituals and cultural exchanges in Central America. First reported in the journal Antiquity, the findings contradict previous assumptions that the area was an isolated culture and support its integration with neighboring cultures.

I guess it's time for an #introduction post!

I make #puppets, puppet supplies, and fun little videos with said puppets.

I'm based in Southwestern Ontario, and you can find me at local craft fairs throughout the year.

I'm also hoping to use this account to be more social in general, so in that vein: ice breaker? Who's your favourite *non-muppet* puppet? I was always very fond of Batly from Eureaka's Castle.

A smaller table to the side labeled "customization station" has a tacklebox full of craft supplies. The booth is set up outside on the edge of a street downtown. The shops in the background are decorated for Halloween, and there's leaves everywhere.
