Introducing, Triton's Tide.
Born of sea and ice so bright,
Triton sings in cosmic night.
Neptune’s child, with storms untamed,
Echoed here in glaze and flame.
Frozen moon, a siren’s art,
Bound by fire, worlds apart.
This raku vase is called 'Tiamat's Talisman'
Tiamat roars,
the old world cracks,
chaos rises, no turning back.
From fractured times,
a new world gleams,
born from struggle,
shaped by dreams.
Never stop dreaming of a better world
Hues of green with whispers of earth red,
Spring stirs softly, plans a winter fled.
In this vase, a quiet plea,
For warmth to wake the waiting tree.

Ceres' Blessing
In hues of earth and sky it gleams,
A vessel born of whispered dreams.
Pink as dawn and blue as seas,
A gift from Ceres, meant to please.
Its curves embrace the fertile land,
Shaped gently by a goddess' hand.
A quiet tribute to life's grace,
Rooted deep in time and space.
The cracks and marks, a tale unfold,
Of cycles ancient, strong, and bold.
A blessing sealed in fire's embrace,
A cosmic charm, this sacred vase.
Final weekend of Joe Winter's pottery holiday open house. The drive up there was absolutely beautiful, and visiting his studio is always a treat. I can never get enough of the visual and tactile inputs.
