the thing about writing a letter in current_year is that if I had anything urgent or important to say, I would call or text or email it! so I'll never have something "big" to write in a letter!
it's okay for snail mail to be "I ate a nice omelette this morning" or "thank you for the call on tuesday" or whatever. most letters aren't vital war communications! they're a way to say "I love and care about you, here is some physical evidence to remind you of that fact."
and once you've written a letter, then you can include fun nurnies with it like stickers and trading cards. I should make a nurny album...
