Ended up playing in the parking lot and got some really good back hop practice in. Lemonade out of lemons.

One of my local bike shops has a rather good selection (not for sale) of retro mountain bikes.
I don't think I will ever stop getting sentimental about #Shimano thumb shifters.
@ai6yr It’s a shame our town Thousand Oaks is literally at the doorstep to the Santa Monica MTNS with thousands of bikers using the surrounding roads and trail systems annually. One would think it could almost be a destination and in being so, would definitely benefit in a much more bike friendly city. Sabotage!! #biketooter

A pleasant forested #MTB trail near San Antonio Hot Springs, leading into the northwest corner of Valles Caldera. Lots of interesting color changes in the soil and the rocks.
Evening bike ride with a friend yesterday. A fantastic combination of water, ice and mud.
@mark@tapbots.socialSuch a beautiful day (finally), I brought 2 bikes to the skatepark today.
This made me rather sad and angry today. Waiting to drop stuff at the dump, and a guy leaves an #mtb, a 2000ish Rocky Mountain Blizzard. I called out to the supervisor as he looked around for who’d left it, rather than putting in in a dumpster, telling him that while old it was a decent bike. He could tell, but once left they have no option but to throw them in with the metals as scrap. So wrong.
It’d have been a project I don’t have time for, but wish I’d grabbed it before they saw it. #cycling

@mark@tapbots.socialDid a quick pavement ride with a 360 camera on a selfie stick in my backpack today. Results weren't great, but got decent footage of me doing a wheelie across this whole bridge. It’s usually a bit windy in this area and so very hard to make it all the way across without my wheel being pushed sideways. Very little wind at this spot today!
Somewhat strange ride this morning. We arrived at our parking spot at eight. It was maybe -1C and foggy. I got on my bike and crashed within 5 seconds, because the space where we park is asphalt, and minimally inclined, and apparently, fog freezes on the ground when it is below 0.
Fell on shoulder and left knee, but decided to ride, anyway.
