The mushroom lamps give me so much pleasure because I love not only their shape but also the colored light they give off in the dark. Even a single one brings so much atmosphere and mood into the room, it's so beautiful! I'm lucky enough to have a whole collection of them. But it's also my bad luck, because the mushrooms need to find new owners. Guys, please “redeem” me from my horrible fate ;3
Funeral bell, deadly skullcap or deadly galerina: the common names for Galerina marginata are ominous! This common wood-rotting mushroom is as toxic as death cap mushrooms, so don't even taste it.

Lichen on my fence: a nice Cladonia (cristatella?) grows up the side of our garden fence and has little red apothecia starting to show up. #Photography #SeattleWashington #OurGarden #Lichen #FungiFriends #lichensubscribe
Cute micro outcropping of #mushrooms on the end of a log. Some oozing as well.
Can nothing kill these mushrooms?!

New year, new mushrooms! I am totally in love with this mushroom lamp! The three brown mushrooms are casts of real mushrooms, which makes it very natural. I also particularly like the birch wood, it brings a completely different atmosphere than normal driftwood. The lamp comes with a cable with a USB plug and a switch.

Rerun for #FungusFriday: Chicken of the woods. This one was growing on a felled flowering plum, so it was edible.
