I finally got back to the Proud Trust about this. Their own access policy states that they ventilate event areas with fresh air, and it's really clear that this policy wasn't followed during this event. I'm glad I didn't read the access policy in advance or I might not have masked or brought the CO2 monitor along.

I have volunteered to help them with this, whether it's through developing procedures to ensure the policy is followed, installing sensors which will alert people when the ventilation is insufficient, or supplementing the ventilation with a #CorsiRosenthalBox.

Having an #lgbtq space in #Manchester which has a clean air policy is really important, but only if that policy is followed. And I feel like my skills could be useful here.
