Is there an archive or a #retro documentary about 3D art from the early 2000s? There were a lot of medieval fantasy landscapes, possibly rendered in #vue or #bryce. Before ambient occlusion and HDR lighting. Single light source, generous use of z-depth fog effects. Sadly, I didn't manage to find a lot from this forgotten era of #webrings on today's search engines.
Here's an example of that style. Back then, it felt mind-blowing to me...
The steeper and more narrow the path, the slower we must take it, and as much as we may want to hurry, it's not a good idea. But if we curb our impatience and make a point of looking around, we'll discover that the landscape is well worth viewing.

#Bryce Canyon at sunrise is breathtaking to behold. As the sun rises over the horizon it casts a warm glow of oranges, pinks, and reds over the rock formations known as #hoodoos. As you stand their in the silence you are filled with awe and tranquility at the #poetry of #Nature.
