Almost forgot today’s #wipwednesday post of the COUS!

Great weather today, so I spent some time outside tidying up the garden and putting a few solar path lights in, haven’t done any stitching today.

Anyway…the Cross stitch Of Unusual Size. I moved the hoop after this photo, to work on the next section.

Forgot to take progress pictures for #wipwednesday , that's why you get a crappy 5am-before-leaving-for-work picture. :lol:
This pattern is a pure variation of SC stitches. I can't work too long on it because quite honestly, SC stitches bore me, that's why I am normally drawn to the complex lacy patterns. Nevertheless... the braiding for this one is very cleverly constructed. I'm using my Cthulu Advent 2024 Krakenyarns handdyed yarn and it's really wonderful. :heart:

Here’s something I’m putting together for a friend who got a macro march commission.
Just the scene so far… next up, characters.

Before we dive into more hats, let's do #wipwednesday . I have a few WIPs going, but I'm rather intruiged with that one. LOTS of bobbles in many variations, so much structure. It's going to be spectacular. :-)
