RenLinear perspective is your friend when drawing aircraft. Depending on how you arrange the focal point and everything, you can make them look like they're going faster or slower. ChinchyI find it hilarious to compare the original thumbnail for the Stitch pic with the current WIP of it. The scale of the pic has gotten SO much bigger lolThe buildings in the foreground (the ones which partially obscure Stitch's feet) were originally gonna be small, 3-4 story buildings. Now they're high rise buildings lolAnd with me increasing the scale of those buildings, I needed to increase the scale of everything behind it. The planet will be lit on both sides - from a distant blue giant on the side facing camera, and from a closer red dwarf on the side facing away.Yes, I'm fully taking advantage of a binary star system just for lighting purposes.Anyway, gotta figure out terrain on the planet and the position and attitude of Space Fox's ship.-- I've been putting off work on the colony one, just because I have a less solid idea of what I want from it. This one is easy - just a focus on the eyeball planet. RenGonna work on some sketchy stuff. This fellow I didn't like. He's just going right to left, and that doesn't add depth and looks kinda funny next to the other dragons in this picture. He makes this area too flat.So I'm redrawing him. RenLeaving off here for now. Flipped the background mountains after drawing the fore one on the right and deciding it should be on the left.I think this gives it a *lot* more depth, with mountains in the fore and water receding back, it has a lot more foreground to background motion.Maybe next giant flora?
