Je viens de tester #KDE Itinerary, dispo sur F-droid et ça m'a l'air d'être une tuerie de praticité !

J'ai importé le PDF de mon train, il a chopé les infos du voyage (dates, gares, places dans le train, QRcode) et a créé un voyage dans sa base avec toutes ces infos.

La killer feature : l'onglet « Ticket courant » qui présente le QRcode du trajet en cours, ou le plus proche si le voyage n'a pas commencé.

Je sens que ça va me simplifier la vie de ouf !

A vintage steam locomotive, named the "United States Plywood Corporation 1", sits quietly beneath a canopy of beautifully blossoming cherry trees, creating a picturesque scene of nature and machinery at The Northwest Railway Museum (NRM), which is a railroad museum in Snoqualmie, King County, Washington state. it was built in 1926 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. Restored in 1974, operated until 1990. Was cosmetically restored in 2005 adding to the small town charm, in a short distance to the Snoqualmie Falls.

Photo en couleur en fin de nuit, présentant le départ d'un train croisant un autre train à l'arrêt, en cours de manœuvre pour aller se positionner au quai de départ. Les feux arrières du train qui s'en va génèrent 2 longs filés rouges du fait de la captation relativement longue, la luminosité étant encore faible. Côté gauche de la photo, on voit le reflet des lampadaires sur des rails, alors que côté droit on voit une rue bordée de maisons et immeuble avec un peu de circulation automobile.. à l'horizon, le ciel commence à s'éclaircir, quelques dizaines de minutes avant le lever effectif du soleil.

@slothrop Having been to Vienna, I strongly second this.

The metro trains run every 5 minutes or better, and likewise trams. They're incredibly punctual.

And no, Americans reading this, that's not a typo.

Almost every destination you'll want to see is either near a metro station or a tram stop.

Belvedere palace? Tram stop. Schonbrunn palace? Metro. St Stephen's Cathedral/Stephensplatz? Metro. Museum district? Metro.

Many parts of the city centre have been pedestrianised.

But aside from all that, especially if you're from the US, Venna almost certainly has better public transport than your hometown.

And I think part of the Vienna experience is being in a city with world-class public transport.
