Who in Canada that isn't Amazon sells The Expanse on DVD or BluRay? Full series set preferred.
I'm on a #TheExpanse rewatch and I still can't decide on my favorite duo of the show.
It's a hard race between either Dummer and Ashford ... or Avasarala and Bobbie.
Both duos are fantastic and have their moments of brilliant banter.
Also, even on their own, both Camina Drummer and Chrisjen Avasarala are awesome characters.
Really hard to decide.
I'm currently rewatching #TheExpanse and I forgot how beautiful the soundtrack was. Not only the absolutely stunning intro, gripping battle themes, but also slow, hauntingly beautiful titles like this one:

#PhotoOfTheDay is the one and only Adam Savage at SiliCon 2022... I got to talk to him very briefly while he signed my poster for #TheExpanse and an 8x10 that my son wanted, having grown up watching Mythbusters.
I'm still in the process of rewatching "The Expanse".
And I have to say, if you are searching for strong and well done femal character, I think The Expanse ist a good place to start.
Camina Drummer, Bobbie Draper, Naomi Nagata, Anna Volodov.
And of course, Chrisjen Avasarala, getting shit done, while cursing like a sailor.
Also Julie Mao, even if we don't see that much of her.
There are movies, shows and games that could take a page out of The Expanse's book and learn.

New instance, new introduction!
I'm a late (mostly self) diagnosed autistic in recovery from autistic burnout. In spring 2024 I left a career at Apple Retail and have been finding myself since. I'm deeply passionate about and experienced with Apple tech. I also love Sci-Fi and Fantasy, mostly TV and movies these days. I'm a gamer, mostly playing on Mac, iPad, and Switch. I was once a software engineer and still pursue it as a hobby, mostly developing small projects for the Apple ecosystem in Swift.
Regarding existing tropes: natural influences include #startrek, #theexpanse, #firefly, etc.:
- Political, military, and trade conflicts
- Mind-bending encounters beyond the known, often in the name of science
- Slice-of-life stuff: breakdowns, conflicts among crew, etc.
What other common tropes do folks want to see?

Been listing to #TheSojourn, and I love it! It's a space fantasy/science fiction audio drama. Worth the listen if you are in that sort of thing. Similar to #theexpanse. I listen to it on #nebulatv.
