Got my nails done today... absolutely in love.

Hello! I'm new to mstdn.games.

I'm a #gamer (support | customizer, explorer), geek, & #ferret mom. I love #Science (especially #Dinosaurs), #SciFi (#StarTrek), & #Fantasy (#TheWheelOfTime). I have ~400 bottles of #NailPolish. I started weekly #watercolor about a year ago.

I'm she/her, cis, white, hetero, nt, & able-bodied, always trying to be a better ally. I appreciate anyone w/the patience to correct & teach me.

Perennially playing #CityOfHeroes since 2004, now on Homecoming. Currently also playing #LegendsOfRuneterra & Planet Zoo, will eventually hop back into #BG3. I rotate through my Steam library regularly. I enjoy #MagicTheGathering & #DungeonsAndDragons, though I haven't played anything in-person since covid19.

I post random thoughts, photos of my #ferrets, #painting, & the occasional #NailArt or mountain of food.

My hands are posed one on the other, showing off new nail art. My nails are long almond shape, matte black with very fine white painting. They have stars, moons, mushrooms and leaf designs.

These were DOA. I rushed through them, I hadn't used the brand of nail polish before, I was distracted, and the weather was too warm, and the result was a badly smudged mess which still looked not bad in a pub for trivia night. Oh well.

My latest #DefconNails are inspired by Jon Buckley's "High Tech Monopoly" and feature 2x hidden Mifare Classic 1K "magic" chips (can write to UID and sector 0) and 2x custom NTAG213+LED nail stickers that I designed.

I've been doing #NFC nails since 2015, and Mifare nails since 2017, but I've never really done any videos showcasing their capabilities. So this year, I've made a video that shows me using a #FlipperZero to clone my hotel room key onto the Mifare magic chip on my middle finger, enabling me to unlock my hotel room door with my fingernail!
