My newest tattoo. This is from Ivy Dinosaur at Electric Tiger Tattoo shop in Memphis, Tennessee. A little something I've wanted for a while and it adds to the story told by the 2 other tattoos on either side of it.

I noticed so much more the second time I watched The Day the Earth Blew Up. The amount of background gags and foreshadowing made it so worth a second watch.
I love this movie. 
If you're a #LooneyTunes fan or a fan of classic cartoons I highly recommend The Day The Earth Blew Up. Go watch it in theaters if it's still at the cinemas. Loved it!

This, like the recent shorts, has alot of care & respect for the 40s & 50s shorts. It's in the art style, but with a bit of a modern accent. But also in the fluid animation, framing, & motion. The energy of those shorts is everywhere.

Gonna see The Day the Earth Blew Up tonight, I believe, if all goes according to plan. 
I'll probably say something about it eventually here, and/or over at Animated TV Blog, where I wrote about it briefly both in 2023 (https://animatedtvblog.wordpress.com/2023/11/12/on-animated-films-getting-shelved-for-tax-write-offs-and-ones-we-hope-wont-be) and also last year (https://animatedtvblog.wordpress.com/2024/03/10/the-day-the-earth-blew-up), despite it not technically being animated TELEVISION (I make exceptions for movies based on shorts or TV shows ).
Pretty damn cool it's finally in theaters.

Since I'm discussing Plex/Jellyfin and Looney Tunes, for those wondering how to organize the LT shorts: you treat them as movies, not TV shows, since that's what the shorts are. (Naming example: "Knighty Knight Bugs (1958)".) I put mine under a "Shorts" movie library.
Apparently the entire classic Looney Tunes shorts catalog is now gone from Max (plus some Scooby-Doo and Tom & Jerry). *Sigh* (again).
