Viva #RitaLee.
I don't usually like linking to or reading Kotaku (they're ridiculous) but I'm making an exception because this piece they wrote about this reddit find is too wild - Pokémon Sun cartridge sitting outside in the dirt for over six years STILL WORKS. Cartridges ftw, man

New post: Instead of putting up with yet another purge of Looney Tunes from Max (and Warner Bros. bean-counters' indifference toward Bugs and company), here's how to watch Looney Tunes on DVD and Blu-ray.

Today, I visited 4 charity shops near to my mother-in-law. Really happy with my finds.
Wonder Woman 4K (£2) 'aving that!
I saw a normal-sized DVD case of The Prisoner, a show I haven't seen since the 90s.
I thought it was the old thing of a couple of episodes with a magazine every month because of the thin case. Wrong. Complete series on 6 DVDs, £1. Lot of extras, too.
Finally, massive tome of a book, John Landis — Monsters in the Movies (£4). It's over an inch thick!
Who in Canada that isn't Amazon sells The Expanse on DVD or BluRay? Full series set preferred.
@buffyleigh yes!
#AnalogRevolution specializes in them. Made inhouse by radical lefties in a small mountain town in northern Georgia!

Album: Cuts Like A Knife
Artist: Bryan Adams
Released: 1983
When I think about other albums released in 1983, I think this one sounds a few years ahead of its time. It's excellent guitar-driven pop rock that occasionally flirts with a hair metal vibe without getting too "screamy". I mean, it's Bryan Adams, so it's gonna be pretty darn good. If you want to rock out 80s style without drowning in hair spray, makeup, and leather, this is one to spin.
Album: Flying the Flag
Artist: Climax Blues Band
Released: 1980
I've been on a big Yacht Rock kick and there are some excellent examples on this album. I'm talking about rock with a healthy infusion of jazz, funk, and/or soul to create a smooth, appealing sound. It has some good straight up rock tracks, too. A great record from start to finish and fantastic album art to go with it.
CD inlay with track details printed as white text on yellow background? How is that even legal!?
@le_friwi_56 wow! how awesome. I have been listining to a lot of #physicalmedia recently too.
Taking the #physicalmedia to extremes. Just dug this bad boy out. It's 30 years old & works perfectly (except for AM radio). Lost my #tarot card reading cassette though. Had not listened to it... Hopefully hidden whilst on the sherbets & not binned! Time now to make some tapes... Thoughts & feelings etc. No 13 Reasons Why shit though! #K7 #cassette #audiocassette
As Christines pages went though my fingers at a rapid pace, I realized how good Stephen could write. I also understood that no one could ever totally capture the story on Film, because your mind makes the words start living, in a way only you know, others cant capture that.
When Chrsitine grabbed her first victim, I knew she was evil, yet profoundly attractive, a fact that made me fly over the pages even more.
At the end it was 06:00 I started to read the day bvefore at 16:00 hrs.
When I ran to school (bike) I was told to explain why I came in class at 06:56 You had to be in Meeke Kowsolea's class at no later that 06:52.
My story of reading Christine was a great speech, with Meeke, my GB English teacher floating at my lips, as I told with proper buildup, who and what christine was, giving a 90 minute unprepared speech of the book, going into all gruesome details of what she did, and only revealing that Christine was a car after a significant while.
In the end I received a standing ovation from Meeke and my classmates who all wanted to read Stephen's books. Meeke was very pleased with my speech and gave me a 9.8 the highest ever for and improptu speech, which counted for 33 1/3 % of my english grade that quarter

What have you been reading today? As you all know reading expands your knowledge in your fields of interest. Reading for entertainment is better than looking at a movie of the same book.
I for one, first **READ** Christine by Stephen King, before watching the bland excerpt which never can capture the dark minded fantasies of the author.
Christine has been the first book I've read bny Stephen and I was glued to the pages, letting my own fantasies create even more elaborate stories upon the main line, while reading this awsome book, as I was in class 409 of our Lyceum school, one level before University of SR. The shool had three of the 6 years still in place and the Onderwijs Bibliotheek was a regularly visited place for me, a kid who started riding bikes on two wheels at the age of two (!)
I could never get books by Stephen since they were always lended out.
The librarian told me I needed to get the book back in 72 hours since many wanted it, but that dark tuesday I was the only one to ask for it, as Christine was sitting on the shelf behind her...
When I raced home, I took my bath, did the homework and then started with getting to know Christine.
The physical media made a profound impact upon me, as I went through the pages. I did not know that She was a car, a possessed car. Then I realized that Christine was purrimg stationary, idling at just 648 RPM, when I picked her up from the shelf.
I read Chrsitine in just one day. Did NOT sleep, because I needed to know how the story progressed
