LibreOffice Writer seems to struggle on Windows since the couple of few weeks. Whenever I hover on menus or content navigator in Writer, the screen goes black for a few seconds. No other application has this issue. Anyone else noticing this? Wondering if it's a Windows bug, a LibreOffice bug or AMD graphics bug... @libreoffice #LibreOffice #windows #amd

With LibreOffice, is it possible to only download some of its applications? I only want Writer, Calc, and Draw. Is LibreOffice all or nothing? I tried to uninstall Impress, but the only option that came up was to uninstall LibreOffice.

God, LibreOffice's spellchecker is so bad… it absolutely doesn't do compound words. "Pro-[word that's in the dictionary]" gets flagged as a spelling error, even though LO knows both halves of the word… and some of the suggestions are just absurd. I typed "ATLA" and LO suggested I correct it to "ATATATATATALA" or something.

I've been using Google Docs for composing and managing resumes and cover letters. It's quick and easy to edit, but I don't love the feel of the finished product. #LaTeX gives me a ton of control, but adds more friction during revisions.
