Last reminder! Does anyone out there still have a track they would like to be included on the Comfy Collaborations compilation? Nominally due end of February, but extensions will be considered on an individual basis.

Yesterday I saw a post about this thing called octothorpes, which apparently allows linking of sites through shared hashtags.
The implementation looks to be beyond my level of expertise (not to say it looks difficult, just not my wheelhouse), but it seems like something that could help those of us doing the self-hosted music thing with discoverability.
Thoughts & boosts welcome.
Roll call! Who’s still on track to complete a Comfy Collaboration by the end of February? Currently there’s only two tracks nailed down, not really enough for an EP.
A little vocal cover from me; “Help!” by The Beatles…

I am #fundraising for an RV as a #nonbinary #ActuallyAutistic person with chronic pain and #CPTSD, alongside my transfem autistic partner, who deals with similar disabilities. We are homeless, have 2 cats named Max and Lenny, and we both make music! I also take digital art commissions!
Everything from our #IndependentMusic to #ArtCommissions to the RV fundraiser can be found via my hyperfollow

Thank you!

Another month with no Bandcamp Friday, but don't despair! Every Friday is Fair Trade Music Friday. Recent times have brought a few new platforms aimed at a more equitable music marketplace, one of which is Faircamp (by @freebliss ). It's a self-hosted thing as opposed to the record-store approach of something like BC, but you can find a bunch of us artists who use it via the Faircamp Webring:
New year, new projects...
We've been playing as Lethal Sister for a year and a half now and we've finally gotten around to producing a demo tape.
Stoner/garage rock for fans of Queens of the Stone Age/Them Crooked Vultures, The Raconteurs/Dead Weather, Sungrazer, All Them Witches, Kadavar...
EDIT [26/03/2025]: Updated masters to give 'em a little more oomph.
That's it for this week! Remember, you can find the full versions of all these writeups here:

Please support these artists by listening, sharing, and if you find something you really like, buying some music!
