Happy last day of February, what are people's plans for the weekend? I'll be up to my usual, housework, reading, planning to read at least 4 chapters in #braille, parenting, and the Sunday voice event on the OurBlind discord.

I'm reading North Queen by Nicola Tyche on my kindle with #voiceview, and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on my braille display.
Story time: G-d is good to me. G-d is good to me. Since I couldn't log into #SSA for who knows what reason, thus began the desperate hunt for the print version of the 1099. Why do I have such a huge mountain of print mail having amassed? Clutter keeps me from that which I must find, the prize of my hunt. So, down on the floor I sit so as not to drop anything and out comes #SeeingAI and a scanning we go. An hour and a half later the mountain of clutter is sorted into a pile for saving and a pile for banishing to the trash. But still no joy. It must be here. I pray a desperate prayer and look through the tax papers folder, still no joy. Wait, what's this behind the file box. A Ziplock bag containing some braille. Well, well, there it is the #Braille copy of the 1099 and look what’s right with it the print version. I was more efficient than I knew it just hadn't made it into the box. It must have been on top of the lid and fallen behind. I tell you that box of 1,000 1-gallon Ziplock bags I bought was one of the best organizational investments I've ever made. I recommend 1-gallon and 2-gallon Ziplock bags for organizing papers and other things quite heartily. 
On the final stretch of Prisoner of Azkaban in #braille, about 60 pages to go, so should finish tomorrow or the day after.
Just received these update notes in the Play Store.
TalkBack 15.2, • Added support for connecting to braille displays via HID. This allows for easier connection via Bluetooth.
So I have realized that if I wanted to, and have the time, I can quite easily read 30+ pages of #braille in one session without much effort,. Therefore I could read 1-3 novels a month depending on length.

1. Finished a chapter in Braille. 
2. Made Crockpot chicken pot pie for supper. 
3. Got more smart bulbs reset. I really think we may just reset them all and be done with it.

@bmoore123 @mcourcel @JeffBishop @technolass No way there's one that comes with a #Braille overlay right in the box? Do you have a link where we could read more about this particular one please? And for the record I wasn't saying anyone should or shouldn't buy the thing just that I knew some who had it that's all.
Has anyone thought about making a #virtual #Braille #display for #Windows that would hijack the touch screen for use with #NVDASR or #JAWS as a Braille input device, and allow using things like a mode for navigation with dot taps like command mode with #BrailleScreenInput on #iOS with #VoiceOver? I'd pay for this. #Accessibility.
For #FreeCADFriday I've been doing a tiny bit of experimenting with the RNIB's braille font in FreeCAD to see how easy it would be to create the sort of "cards" that Dr Alex Ball has been making for his visually-impaired @museuminabox

@vol4life8657 Hey remember the golf card game people used to play? I used to be good at that when I was a teen. Ask if I remember how to play it now or if I still even have a deck of #Braille cards? The answer would be no on both counts. But once upon a time I was sooo good at that game.
If anyone uses Android with TalkBack and the onscreen Braille keyboard, please try to reproduce and report this issue:
In Talkback, if onscreen keyboard echo is set to words, and a word with punctuation after it is typed, TalkBack does not read the word when Space is typed. Similarly, if an emoticon is typed, like ":)" nothing is spoken when Space is typed.
Steps to reproduce:
• Turn on TalkBack, and open TalkBack settings by tapping once with three fingers. Set up the TalkBack Braille keyboard under the Braille section.
• Go to Verbosity settings, then the keyboard echo option for onscreen keyboards, and set it to "words."
Now, open a text box, turn on the TalkBack Braille Keyboard, and type something like "this is a test." Note the period after test. Then, swipe right with one finger to enter a space.
Expected results:
TalkBack should read "this" "is" "a" "test period."
Actual results:
TalkBack reads "this" "is" "a" and is silent after test is written.
I also put it up on Google's issue tracker if anyone wants to start it.
@parakeetprincess @ChocolatePie @lulu_bear @brian_hartgen And they do have Braille on some of their packaging. I've never found anything that worked for me from them but love that they do ahve #Braille

1. As of this afternoon, all the towels and washcloths in the house are clean.
2. Spent the afternoon going through all the Braille books on the eReader and making notes of number of pages for each book. Still need to do the Mantis and will work on that tomorrow.
3. Actually went to the basement after supper and started working on an exercise routine again. Hubs and I were doing it religiously but for some reason just stopped. Don’t even know why we stopped. It’ll take time to get back up to what I was doing before but I’ve started.
