Ok, #Longhorn might have just saved me here with #k3s and my storage woes. #SMB and #NFS both caused catastrophic problems with corrupted files and databases. Using #unraid as the storage backend for the later 2 but will keep it as a backup destination and network storage for more static datasets.
Thanks to everyone who helped push me in this direction. #homeassistant is officially happy again!

Today's @pixel_dailies prompt is #CarnivorousPlant, and as always, I love doing #SMB #FanArt. 
For the first time in a while, I'm also posting some glyphs from my #1bit #PixelArt #font project. I haven't really worked on that project in a long time though, because I've been so busy with my recently released GB game, #TaiFab.
...To be honest, I've already started building my next GB game! 
I guess that font will have to wait.

there was a time where I had to build levels like this, using LOGO-like instructions for outlines and then asking the BASIC to fill the shapes... but making it with tiles instead of pixels means you keep the ability of automating collisions tests while I had to have individual lines of code for every collectible on screen ^^"

But there is an elephant in the room, isn't there. No, not Mario... I know the game is titled after the Wonders, it was codenamed "Secred" (like "Secret + Red"), but either this started life as a music-themed game, or that was added to supplement the Wonder theme. Sound effects changing to instrument sounds, all the rhythm sections, the music rooms, the beat-based badges, Bowser's whole thing... There's so much of it in this game that it feels like the secret theme. I almost wonder if there's some music-themed wordplay to "Wonder" (in Japanese maybe) that's going mostly unnoticed. Even the last Flower House is called "WONDER?" and bounces the characters individually. #SuperMarioWonder #MarioWonder #SMB #Nintendo #gaming
I went into this worried it would be a little too light on content, and it's true Super Mario Wonder isn't the longest Mario game they've put out. But there's very little filler or bloat, very little repetition, and the one time it really stuck out at me I think they were deliberately doing it that way. I also like how grand the Wonder sequences are. It's like they took the weird creative energy of prior Ghost Houses, and put that throughout the whole game. Which means this game also isn't drowning in Ghost Houses, double hooray! (And if you're thinking "The Ghost Houses were my favorite part", that's this whole game, but not limited to a single level theme!) #SuperMarioWonder #MarioWonder #SMB #Nintendo #gaming
I wasn't up for talking about it yesterday, but I think I've 100%ed Super Mario Bros. Wonder as it is today, barring any sparkling star nonsense. (I reset on the one or two other stages where I felt like I went over 5, but just let it go with the very last one.) Honestly, it was a great experience, one of the best they've put out, although it builds a lot off of things you already likely know. Probably in my top 5 Mario platformers of all time, and that's a long list with some heavy hitters. #SuperMarioWonder #MarioWonder #SMB #Nintendo #gaming
