Today I launched a new website, the Monster Toy Blog!
Expect lots of reviews of monster figures. Starting with the AAA Loch Ness Monster.
Had some evening downtime between dig days, and carved a little farther on my #WinoDino 3.0
It’s a sea monster in honor of the #PembinaGorgeStatePark so yes, not *really* a #dinosaur but whatever. The fin wasn’t cooperative with my gouges, which means 1. Time to sharpen, and 2. Maybe time for a little power carving cleanup.
Another big day for cryptid news: why, it’s the lovely Nessie! She heard I was painting a watercolour lakeside landscape as a lil gift for the illustrious sweet pea Buttons and wanted to say hello to her good friend x

The #Tatzelwurm ("paw worm") is a mythical creature said to live in the #Alps (the image, however, is based on an encounter in #Sicily in 1954)
Reports about this creature go back to the 1920s and vary
Sometimes simply described as a small snake with paws
Also reported as a bizarre hybrid of a #cat or wildcat and a huge snake like an anaconda, powerful enough to attack mature pigs
The Tatzelwurm is basically the #Bigfoot / #Nessie of the Alps
