To celebrate 50 years of Disney's Robin Hood, which for me is *the* furry Ur-text, I recorded a free improv version of "Oo-De-Lally" by Roger Miller, a version I'm sure everyone has been clamoring for:

Some fun things about this arrangement:

-This is a rare one where banjo is the "lead" instrument.
-The vocal parts feature fugal counterpoint (a college education put to good use!).

Time for a new #introduction

I play bass and electronic instruments, do some experimental video work, and live on O‘ahu, Hawai‘i.

Some things I've done that I love going on and on about: spent time in Bulgaria studying the concept of authenticity in relation to folk music, co-founded Community of Sound in Burlington Vermont, been an internationally ranked biathlon competitor (we won't say what that rank was though hahah).

My music often involves free improvisation, collaborations, and sometimes contemporary art music compositions.

My site is hand coded, has an RSS feed, and loads really fast.
