Now that I've got the recipe down, it's time to start making fidget cubes in earnest! Making a silver one to match the gold one, and more rings will be on the way soon. Coming to my store soon!

One of the reasons I like chainmaille as a craft is that while my fibromyalgia often leave me sofa-bound, chainmaille requires very little space: all I need is my pliers, jump rings, and a lap tray (complete with a custom play mat from deep cut studios.) So while I'm not up to doing anything else, I can work on my latest piece while watching a movie... Usually horror, currently the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street.

a side by side of the stripes and vertebrae versions of the chromander bracelet, shown here in the red and black color combination.

what's the difference? the stripes version has all the color contained inside the stainless steel shell. while the vertebrae has a black stripe as part of the shell, but the inside is entirely red.

both versions available in the shop (along with more color combinations).

finished up two colors of the striped chromander bracelet, which are now live in the shop.

there is currently one each of the red with black and purple with green in stock. these will be stocked as i make them, and will likely be restocked in similar colors. though colors will be subject to change overtime.

custom color requests are welcome, which will be made to order.

My pieces in the #bridgesMathArt gallery this year:
A #chainMaille approximation of a pattern of edge-touching 18-gons and a Maple-specific “Manipulations“ print along with a crocheted squiggle of the type that I used in creating the image. #Maplesoft

That really is a photo of a 1990s-era Maple install disk in the background 😁. There is some information as to why in maplesoft.com/mapleconference/
