#capoeira tonight: I got to lead the classes tonight. We have a trend of parents of capoeira kids trying out the adult classes for themselves. Two more parents joined in tonight! I had to add another station to make room for everyone.

Capoeira class was working in au variations and floreios. I asked everyone to consider their distance and spacing, and work on getting more comfortable with doing floreios with an opponent moving around.

I'm from #Victoria in #Australia.

I'm into #photography and shoot both #digital and #film, mostly of birds, flowers, nature and architecture, and mostly with #Pentax gear. I might get around to sharing some photos here.

I also play #guitar and #piano.
I like a lot of different kinds of music but due to parental influence, I lean a lot towards 60s/70s #rock and the #blues that inspired it.

I like eating #poachedeggs, #pizza, #paella and #aloogobi but rarely at the same time. I drink too much #coffee but who doesn't?

I've been known to participate in #archery, #karate, #capoeira, #pilates and #yoga, but I tend to dive in and out of these activities sporadically.

I'm usually fairly passive on social media, preferring to read what others have to contribute. I think I do this because it helps me understand what makes people tick, keeps my mind open to a variety of perspectives, and makes me aware of life experiences different from my own.

I left Twitter for Mastodon for similar reasons to many. Enjoying it so far but still trying to figure things out. 'tis a strange beast.
