Zwei Ringeltauben, Seite an Seite, von links ins Bild schreitend. Sie befinden sich vor dem Eingang zum Gartenhaus.

Wieder die beiden Unzertrennlichen, nun mit dem Blick zur Kamera, die Taube zur Rechten des Betrachters, streckt das Köpfchen neugierig nach vorne.

Noch ein letztes Mal das Ringeltauben-Pärchen. Hier stehen die beiden genau nebeneinander, die Haltung der Köpfchen unterscheidet sich gerade soviel, dass man denken könnte, es sei eine enorm dicke Taube mit zwei Köpfen. Wir sehen sie von der rechten Seite.

A Snowy Egret standing on a rock with water behind it on a sunny day. The all white bird, with long legs, and its long neck curled down to its body has its head turned to its left and the shadow of its long bill on its white body makes it look like an extra long bill. One part of its yellow feet can just be seen over the edge of the rock. White loose plumes curl up from the end of its body and wings.

Grackle's Bayou Forage

Grackles are fascinating birds, known for behaviors that demonstrate intelligence similar to that of crows. They are not corvids though, they are members of the blackbird family, Icteridae. Common grackles often form large flocks that, according to accounts, can seemingly fill the skies of central Texas. This particular bird, however, is a boat-tailed grackle (Quiscalus major), which is found exclusively near the shores of the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean in the United States.
