Went for a float in the river aare after work today. It was a lot of fun. After 3 times floating down. I made my way back to the trainstation through the pretty citycenter of Berne.

I have to say that I feel @notjustbikes understated this mode of transport in his [biking in Switzerland video](https://piped.video/watch?v=pWnreLG_cvc&t=693).

I don't think I have had so much fun while travelling so fast ever before. And on a hot summers day like this it is also very comfortable.

It is also clear that this is something the city has put a lot of thought into, with walking paths along the river and stairs at regular intervals for easy "embarcation" and "disembarcation". I even got to take a fernicular down from the city center to the riverside! I wish I could travel to work like this every day, wich my swiss friend told me some people do on sunny days.
