I got thinking about "The Tower That Ate People" because of what is turning into my #SnoopListens thread¹ and the only reason I know of this song and really Peter Gabriel's solo work is because this song (quite briefly!) features in RED PLANET, a #ValKilmer film.
People are rightfully gushing about REAL GENIUS and BATMAN and TOP GUN all the other great movies he was in, but I guess RED PLANET is where I'm at right now. Might spin it up for some company as I slog through some more debugging.
I can't find a clip of it online, but there's a bit where the song is playing and Val Kilmer is jamming out doing his "space janitor" thing. It's great.
Overall a really entertaining movie with a star-studded cast and a plot that is stupid, but not TOO stupid.

One of my favorite actors. Despite his talent, he was often overshadowed by more famous actors in his movies. I loved his comedy and fantasy roles most and really enjoyed his master of disguise Simon "The Saint" Templar (1997) where he was able to show off his impressive range in 12 different disguises.
