This probably calls for a devlog...
The release video for Mille: Sinclair Spectrum edition. Sorry for the music, well ... not that sorry. #RetroGaming #RetroDev #IndieDev https://youtu.be/PjsiLjGx2s0
The Sinclair Spectrum port of Mille, our game based on the French card game Milles Bourne, has hit v1.0. We've made it $1 and any sales will help contribute to future development https://tonsomo.itch.io/mille-sinclair-spectrum-edition #RetroGaming #IndieDev #RetroDev
I'm a big fan of lasers!

I imagine using this tool in combination with an art program could be really useful for folks targeting TV-connected retro platforms: https://mausimus.itch.io/shaderglass

NEW: ZXVDU (experimental pre-release)
ZXVDU is a modern network-capable display server that emulates ZX Spectrum-style graphics capabilities.
https://github.com/ha1tch/zxvdu
Limited pre-release
https://github.com/ha1tch/zxvdu/releases/tag/zxvdu-0.1-pre
You should be able to draw things on the video display server connecting to port 55550 and sending text commands from any programming language.
Only Mac and Windows binaries available at this time, not sure how to build this for Linux. Help with Linux and RPi toolchains / builds is welcome.
I know, I know, lots of posts about Jurl. But it was time to test loading it up on actual hardware #indiedev #retrodev #RetroComputing
First attempt at Loading Jurl on an actual Speccy 48K #RetroComputing #IndieDev #RetroDev

All the enemy types are implemented, next is collisions and explosions, then level progression and lose and win states. I need to test it on real hardware, but on an emulated 48K spectrum it runs well https://youtu.be/is0Gwhx0RFU #RetroComputing #IndieDev #RetroDev
These tools are at different stages of development:

zxa - a simple Z80 assembler for the ZX Spectrum. 70% implemented.
All tools are cross-platform and binaries for all major platforms will be provided regularly.
