I should also mention that the #PolarBear, which is built to rear up, also hit that 3 meter mark.
In the world of Modders, this is all well and good: you can see people who have been done up as anthro bears, rhinos, elephants, etc, with barreled out chests and large legs and feet, just like those animals. The only question I have at this point is how tall can they get before there's an issue?
I keep thinking 3 m, internally, is a safe height to talk about, which lines up with both Gigantopithecus and polar bear, along with the elephant standing on all fours, and is only 50% more than that assumed healthy limit of 2 m for a normal human...
...but I'm still wondering about this 9 m tall upright elephant.
Like, 3 m is just a maximum standing height that we have seen in natural evolution, just as half a meter is a minimum we have seen from natural evolution. Since we are talking hard sci-fi, with a caveat of body modification with advanced technology, is more possible?
