Today, it's a bit different, though - Samantha finally finished going through all the cosplay photos from Otakon 2024 - cleaning up, tagging, and the like, so today we have the results of that with our regular roundup for the event. Enjoy~

So now that I'm home and relaxing post-Otakon, here are some of the purchase I made at the con.
Was able to snag some anime soundtracks, City Pop and Showa Idol CDs and vinyls, some light novel volumes at 40% off, and some anime figures.
We're finally back from Otakon. Despite the parking garage incident, we had a great time in Washington, DC. There was lots of amazing cosplay to see, fun panels, and just hanging out with friends. I'm looking forward to next year.
Our last day at Otakon. We're just going to check out a fan panel, then probably hit the road.
A special middle finger goes out to the asshole that hit our parked car in the parking garage. Because only a jackass tries to get an SUV or truck onto a space for compact cars. Nothing like a parking garage hit and run to sour the mood.

It's been an amazing year at Otakon so far this year. We recently finished up the (new) Animego and Discotek panels. Great announcements as always.
Also, Otakon tells you to go to bed after 1am. (I went to a Psycho-Pass panel that started at 12:45 am.)
The convention thinned out a little. We were able to get to the dealer's room and artist alley. Alas, the number of booths selling physical DVDs and Blu-rays gets smaller and smaller every year.
The Dealer's room and Artist alley reached their occupancy. I've never seen this before at Otakon. The crowds are huge this year. I think the con will break number records.
Anyway, we just went out to lunch.
Dinner at the Founding Farmers was amazing last night. It's a little bit of a hike to get there (a ride on the Metro), but the food was worth it.
Ultimately, I was able to get my missing registration sorted out without issue yesterday.
As for today, a few panels caught my eye, but I don't see myself doing much before noon. Well, outside of getting breakfast and wandering the con floor.
We're on our way to Washington, DC in order to weeb it up it at Otakon for the weekend.
Definitely going to roll into the Otakon pre-reg line with my Anthrocon 2024 gear in spite. I can at least say the big furry con DIDN'T fumble on my registration information. I'm a little miffed as this is the first time this happened in nearly 20 years of attending Otakon.
Turns out we might be able get our registration sorted out at the Westin instead of going to the convention center. We'll see.
Less than a few hours to go until Otakon. I have my badge that was mailed to me, but there's no record of my 2024 confirmation online. Other than $75 being taken out of my bank account I have no records. So I'll still need to hit pre-reg tomorrow after all. WTF.

Going to Otakon for the first time this week!
And somehow I won't be cosplaying Yohane?! 
I managed to grab two rooms for Otakon. One at the Renaissance, the other at the Conrad. The site strained under the pressure and it was a fight to get a room. My dashboard only shows one room, despite reserving and getting confirmation for two. I'm just hoping these are glitches. #Otakon #Otakon2024
