He's been playing around with garage band and I'm trying to get him interested in building productions up more from scratch and playing and recording his own parts. Here is another snippet of the song I've been working on.

The bass and guitar are played by yours truly. They are DI into Amplitube5, with some additional compression and EQ. The organ and strings are programmed with zero humanization. I'll record those with a MIDI controller after I'm done with the guitars (still in progress). The drums are the same as I shared previously.

#MusicProduction tip: Automate everything. I turned a stock Ableton guitar loop into this synth/chord/soundscape thing in about 20 minutes. Didn't think to save before trying other stuff, but damn it was cool and really easy to do. Ableton has the best automation accessibility support I've ever seen, and it's gotten even better in 12.2
