This one needs some context. I was playing Tetr.io's new(ish) Zenith Tower mode, where the goal is to climb as high as you can. I'd chosen a long-term goal of reaching 1 kilometer on the tower. Unfortunately, while some of my runs get past 700 meters, one run that I streamed on Piczel fell apart before I'd gotten out of the first floor at 50 meters. This led to plenty of lighthearted teasing about how that's still big for a self-proclaimed minidrake, even if it's very insignificant compared to the deities that tend to hang out in Maggie's streams and server.

I did not expect Maggie to actually commemorate that with a silly little sketch, but I'm glad she did. Birds may be jerks, but she's a hot jerk.

You and your fellow springtails are peacefully feeding on organic debris next to a stream when suddenly a dark shape rapidly approaches from beneath a leaf. It's a predatory, semi-aquatic rove beetle of the genus Stenus whose appearance causes the springtails to release their furculas, leaping in random directions to escape. The defeated rove beetle raises its abdomen in frustration and resumes the hunt.

I noticed several tiny bugs skating around on the surface tension of a stream and watched them for a bit. There were three of these Ripple bugs (genus Microvelia) gathered around another insect slurping up its juices with their straws (piercing mouthparts). These are gregarious predatory insects in the suborder Heteroptera.
