- I am not anyone special
- I am not smarter or tougher or any other kind of -er than the average person
- In fact, I'm legally #blind and #trans and 55+
- and I live in #Texas

I am acknowledging that it is not easy. It took me several months to physically move, and several more to get the divorce. Step one to solving a problem is identifying it as a problem. You are here.

The next step is to make a plan.

It might help you to write yourself a letter as if you were writing to a friend in your same situation. Encourage yourself. Be gentle (hard work can be exhausting) and firm (you do know what the best option is, and you're worth doing to the work).

After that, you implement the plan.

Then, you reflect on where you are, and see if you're where you need to be. If not, identify the problem...
