Great game, but it's "episode complete" system is a hellish nightmare...the good???? news is it requires 2+ playthroughs ANYWAY so it's possible to replay and fix your mistakes...maybe. It's...not worth it, btw. The game is good, plot aside, but attempt no landing at 100% FF X-2.

Didn't learn a Term to ask about. I've checked every town I can reach twice. The person outside where I need to ask about Mythril uses the word Mythril, and it's even in green text... But I can't LEARN it from them.
So back to... Wherever you learn that, I go. After a town of 20 NPCs with identical dialog trained me to stop talking to NPCs
This game is the absolute worst. An endless nightmare of tedium.
The GBA version is much more powerful and the definitive version for me, but it lacks a video with fitting visuals. The official recording's a bit fuzzy, now that I mention it...one more thing to do once I move in.

@TheZeldaZone@mastodon.socialI think I give up. #FinalFantasy 2 is a masterpiece, every possible thing that could be done wrong has been done wrong in a way that would require endless hours of creativity. It took 5 hours of grinding to reach what I thought was the third town. Nope, can't access it, no explaination 
This is terrible without a single redeeming feature so far. God they're lucky 80s RPGs sucked ass anyway and FF1 was already a hit lol.
I'm playing the GBA version too, which doesn't seem to fix very much.

I knew it was bad I heard about the stat system but it is so much worse than that
