Einem #Databroker aus den Niederlanden habe ich kürzlich mitgeteilt, dass ich die unaufgeforderte Aufnahme meiner Daten in deren Datenbank zum Anlass nehme, ihnen die permanente Verwendung und den Verkauf meiner Daten mit mtl. 1.200 € in Rechnung zu stellen. Daraufhin bekam ich eine böse, böse Mitteilung, dass meine Daten per sofort gelöscht wurden und man mich umgehend verklagen würde, wenn ich ihnen eine Rechnung zusenden würde.

Starting around Windows 8, Microsoft has continually added more and more things to #Windows that the users absolutely, positively do not want. Adding #ads - #commercials! - to the #desktop #OS that are actively user-hostile is conclusive proof of this. They are no longer trying to serve the #user; they are trying to *attract* the user so they can be sold for profit to #advertisers, databrokers, and other assorted #evils. Windows 11 is actively anti-user.
