Social Security changes for 2024
The cap (or limit) on the amount of earned income subject to #FICA (Social Security Tax) is being raised for 2024 from $160,200 to $168,600. Many in Congress would like to see the cap eliminated entirely.
Recipients will receive a #COLA (inflation adjustment) of 3.2%, but Social Security Part 2, which pays for prescriptions will rise 6%, consuming the COLA and more.
