Adhémara<p>Ok I have an idea!</p><p>We could do a drawing (or photographing) challenge in which<br>- we take the pic of someone *without looking at it*<br>- and try to create something only using it's alt text as inspiration </p><p>Only when we are finished, we look at the original pic, and we post ours with the alt text + a brief summary of the differences from the original picture, and a link to it.</p><p>Would people like to try that? valentinzi12/03/2025: The first big <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/challenge?src=hash" title="#challenge" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#challenge</a> was leveling the uneven <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/floor?src=hash" title="#floor" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#floor</a> in two directions (12mm and 5mm) with a custom-made lower bottom rail crafted from arolla pine wood. My brother helped with measuring and making this custom piece—it would be expensive if we calculated it by the hour! 😂<br> <br> We first marked the cuts and used a Japanese saw, leaving a 3mm gap for later planing on the machine.
