anyone else here having problems with #KiCAD popping up modal windows that don't appear in your alt-tab window switcher or window overview so if they disappear behind another window you need to go chasing around for them?
@slyka I did not specifically notice this one, but some property windows have focus problems, select component, press e, you get a modal dialog, but it's not in focus. Maybe these problems are caused by multiple screens? (debian 12)
@f4grx only have a single screen here. Not really seeing focus issues I think. Do the modal windows show up in your window switcher?
@slyka Are you using Wayland? I haven't suffered those, but other myriad of problems, including freezes when trying to bring up some popups on sway-wm. Searched a bit, and the official statement is that KiCad does **not** support Wayland, so for PCB stuff I have to use other window manager 
. Had no problems with i3-wm.

weirdly enough all the other bug reports with similar issued seem to be for OSX…
@slyka Well... When on xorg, I use i3-wm, that does not support alt-tab or similar window switcher...
