An oddity from a hotel: the rooms in the Hyatt Regency secondary tower thing have some basic residential-grade BRK/First Alert smoke detectors in them. At least they're obviously photoelectric or combo, but... C'mon now Hyatt operator, that's no way to run a system. I have higher-quality, more commercial-suitable detectors (Gentex S1209+GN503) in my actual house.
