Why are people still using Avast in the Year of our Lord 2025?
Fuck man, if you're on a windows computer, for most use cases, Windows Defender is really all you need.
@itsOasus
I don't bother with their "protection", but I do like their cleanup and driver-updater apps. (Win10)
How dumb am I?
@moondog548 I didn't say anyone is dumb. I was just asking a question. My personal experience is that Avast software tends to be very bloaty in nature. At least in regards to the antivirus. For some dang reason, it sees fit to just always be using unnecessary amounts of processor power. lol
@itsOasus Defender has gotten really good lately.
