To the natural science inclined residents of the Fediverse:
Have you heard about Flora Manuals? I discovered them in a natural history class a few days ago and I’ve since fallen in love with botany! I’ve always thought plants were cool, but being able to identify and learn about species in a way that feels logical is paradigm shifting. Normal field guides pale in comparison!
Anyways, this is another step on my way down the career choice pipeline from “wildlife biologist” to “ecologist”.
Context about that last comment: I know many ecologists who originally thought they wanted to be wildlife biologists, but then got interested in plants. I’ve been gradually heading in the same direction.
