We have decided to block misskey.io for tendencies to post content adjacent to child pornography and showing behaviour aligning with queerphobia.

The admins of misskey.io have ignored reports and the presence of heavily sexualised loli content; content that we believe is not far removed from actual child pornography.

The admins also have boosted queerphobic posts from another instance admin, mstdn.jp, who directly attacks and harasses queer people.

We also see that the misskey.io admins do not have a strong position of allyship, going out of their way to ask LGBTQ users on their own server to suppress their queerness when it becomes "too bothersome" for them, throwing them under the bus before considering their own position and relations on the fediverse.
