Sylke’s home cookingSomething new: Thai Basil Chicken (Pad Kra Pao Gai). It appealed to me as the recipe creator suggested that soy mince could easily replace chicken mince and, yes, it worked perfectly. <br> <br> There were lots of fish sauce and basil, ginger, garlic and chillies, so I just had to try it out. I also made Prik nam pla, the typical condiment made from fish sauce and chillies. The egg wasn’t totally necessary but it was still nice to have. <br> <br> Next time I might increase the amount of the soy mince somewhat but we were all happy with our meal. <br> <br> Recipe used:<br> <br> <a href="https://pickledplum.com/thai-basil-chicken-recipe/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://pickledplum.com/thai-basil-chicken-recipe/</a><br> <br> <a href="https://pixelfed.eu/discover/tags/Mastonom?src=hash" title="#Mastonom" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Mastonom</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.eu/discover/tags/HomeCooking?src=hash" title="#HomeCooking" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#HomeCooking</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.eu/discover/tags/Cooking?src=hash" title="#Cooking" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Cooking</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.eu/discover/tags/MainMeal?src=hash" title="#MainMeal" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#MainMeal</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.eu/discover/tags/MyDinner?src=hash" title="#MyDinner" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#MyDinner</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.eu/discover/tags/ThaiFood?src=hash" title="#ThaiFood" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ThaiFood</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.eu/discover/tags/FusionKitchen?src=hash" title="#FusionKitchen" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#FusionKitchen</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.eu/discover/tags/Food?src=hash" title="#Food" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Food</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.eu/discover/tags/Flexitarian?src=hash" title="#Flexitarian" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Flexitarian</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.eu/discover/tags/30PlantsAWeek?src=hash" title="#30PlantsAWeek" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#30PlantsAWeek</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.eu/discover/tags/SylkewebFood?src=hash" title="#SylkewebFood" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#SylkewebFood</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.eu/discover/tags/SylkewebFood202408?src=hash" title="#SylkewebFood202408" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#SylkewebFood202408</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.eu/discover/tags/Sylkeweb202408?src=hash" title="#Sylkeweb202408" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Sylkeweb202408</a> <a class="u-url" href="https://pixelfed.eu/@foodiverse@a.gup.pe" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@foodiverse@a.gup.pe</a>
